In Waiting Mode
I’ve been listening to that song, While I’m Waiting, by John Waller.
I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will waitYes, I will wait
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve you while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord
It feels like my theme song right now, although I’m not sure why some times of waiting feel more painful than at other times. If, for all our lives, we are waiting for Christ to return, waiting to be made perfect in Him, than why is it that waiting for that elusive thing or person seems so magnified? I hope and pray that all my satisfaction will be found in Him and that I will embrace waiting. Because life here is waiting mode.
